NetEnt Releases Scarface Slot Game!

Published on April 25, 2012 by in Uncategorized

The highly anticipated slot game has finally arrived! NetEnt releases Scarface slot game! I was ready to play it so I went to one of the best casino sites on earth. Mr. Green.

I had to watch the video intro from start to finish. There are sound bites and images straight from the Scarface movie. I mean this slot is way cool. There are three stacked wilds: Nudge Spin, Bonus Game and Free Spins. When either of them fill the entire reel it triggers the feature.

I starting with $2 per spin and hit the bonus game immediately. In this bonus, you must use the gun or grenade to protect Tony from the hit squad. Each kill awards coins and the bonus is ended once the bad guy reaches Tony. There’s also a cool video sequence when the bonus launches. Three enemies were killed giving me a win of 8. I wasn’t very impressed by that number but I think that maybe the cash is in the free spins or possibly the stacked wilds.

So I was back to spinning and triggered the Nudge Spin. That’s a wild that remains for a series of re-spins with a 3x multiplier. You don’t spend another penny during re-spins which is a nice little bonus. I won $9 from that and I was loving the quality of this slot.

I hit several wilds for a win of $17 plus the bonus game for a total of $22. Now I’ve seen all the features except for the free spins. Even if I had to blow my entire bankroll, I had to get a round of free spins on Scarface. I hit the bonus game another few times which doesn’t pay out much and I hate to say it but it became a little annoying after a while. The great thing about the Scarface slot game is that you can bypass the graphics so that you’re not watching the same scenes repeatedly.

Overall, the payouts were good but I never did get a sot at the free spins.Check out Scarface and let me know what you think. The world is yours….

RTG Releases New Slot Game Bulls and Bears

Published on April 18, 2012 by in Slots

I’m not sure of the exact date but I recently caught on tot he news headline that RTG releases new slot game Bulls and Bears. I ran off to Rushmore Casino, a popular online casino, to check it out.

I was so excited because I am huge RTG fan. Bulls & Bears is a 25 pay line slot game. It features the Major and Minor jackpots as only RTG can. It has the Buy-Sell Free Games Feature. The Bull serves as “Buy” and the Bear serves as the “Sell” symbol. Whenever they appear during free spins, you receive and additional free game. There is a lot going on in this slot game including the Feature Guarantee. Simply put, it guarantee that you’ll trigger the feature in a certain number of regular spins.

I was spinning at $1 and not much was happening so me being the way that I am, I upped the bet to $1.75. Maybe a stupid move but I wanted to see what Bulls & Bears could do. I had a decent bankroll so I was willing to go a little higher. My first spin included several winning combos for just over $18. Then I hit 4 cards and 3 safes for just over $7.

The payouts were coming but the bonus didn’t until I hit the Feature guarantee. I chose the Buy (Bull) symbol. My 7 free spins began. Several Bulls appeared giving me countless extra free games. By the end of it, my bonus win was a whopping $304.01.

Shortly after, the Feature Guarantee kicked in again. I chose the Bear this time. This bonus was worth significantly less with a win of just $25.20. The bonuses were on a roll. I hit another one for $141.05.

I determined that I loved this new slot game. I was winning and winning but I had to be smart. My luck wouldn’t last forever, so I took my $385 in winnings and left.

Have you tried Bulls & Bears? What are your thoughts?

New Microgaming Slot Games, Karate Pig and Arctic Fortune

Published on April 11, 2012 by in Slots, Uncategorized

I couldn’t wait to check out a couple of new Microgaming slot games, Karate Pig and Arctic Fortune. I searched for the best casino site that had both games and found All Slots Casino. Even better, they were both available for instant play.

I began with Karate Pig and set my bet to 200 credits. First off I noticed that you can win up to 400,000 credits during regular play and up to 800,000 during free spins. The features include free spins and a Karate Bonus. Stacked wilds are also featured. Stacked wilds are one of the reasons that I love Microgaming.

Karate Pig was paying out like crazy. I had several big wins but no bonus to be found. The symbols are absolutely hilarious. Each time I looked at them I noticed something different.

Usually, Microgaming releases a great slot game and a not so great slot game. I had a hunch that I was playing the great new release Karate Pig. I had to play until I got a shot at the Karate Bonus. The payouts slowed way down and that bonus feature just never came. I had to check out Arctic Fortune before I blew through my bankroll.

At first sight, I’d say I was right about this one not being such a great new game. Arctic Fortune is a 1024 way slot game. In my opinion it looks very cheap. Even the way the symbols hit the reels seems odd to me.

I took a look at the paytable and spotted one drastic difference. There was one bonus feature, the free spins bonus, and the maximum win was 9,000 coins. That’s a huge difference compared to the massive potential on Karate Pig.

The payout was terrible. I think I sneezed and lost 20 quid. It was awful. I tried to give it a chance but nearly fell asleep at the reels. One common factor was the lack of a bonus which can be so typical of Microgaming in my experience. It’s not easy to land a bonus with their slot games.

The verdict is Karate Pig all the way. It’s entertaining, offers impressive payouts and has two bonus features.

Have you tried Karate Pig or Arctic Fortune yet? I’d love to read your thoughts on both.

Diving Deep: Playing Deep Sea Treasure Slot at Virgin Casino

Published on April 4, 2012 by in Online Casino, Slots

I like the selection of games at Virgin Casino. They are one of the best rated online casinos in my opinion. I swear every time I check in there’s a new slot game for me to try and today was one of those lucky days. I spotted Deep Sea Treasure slot at Virgin Casino.

Deep Sea Treasure was created by Blueprint Gaming. I love the theme. The sea creatures are so whimsical and colorful. I’m transported to a beach in the Bahamas when I hear the audio accompanying this slot game.

So as for play time, I set my bet to $1.20. This was a good place to start and I had about $100 to play with. Right away I got 3 puffa fish symbols. I was prompted to choose one to reveal the amount of free spins I would be awarded. I selected 14 free spins. I won just over $12 and just when I thought it was over a giant purple octopus busts in presented several treasure chests to reveal a multiplier. I made my choice and doubled my bonus win.

The shark is the wild symbol. When he appears on an active payline the symbol becomes animated and includes a multiplier. Payout was steady and I was up about $20.

I got to thinking about this software. I was not familiar with it and wondered about the other slot games in their gaming package. The graphics were good and the free spins bonus had major potential. When I did a little research I found that I was quite familiar with their games. Among them are Chuzzle and Zuma.

I gave into temptation and played with my $20 winnings. If I lost it, it was okay. I was willing to break even to play this fabulous game and that’s exactly what happened.

Try Deep Sea Treasure. I would love to read your experiences.

Cryptologic’s Golden Jaguar Slot Game

Published on March 28, 2012 by in Online Casino, Slots

I am a huge fan of the amazing Cryptologic slot games. When I feel the urge to play some of their slots I choose the popular online casino, InterCasino. They haven’t had any new games in quite a while but I always find something there that I haven’t tried. As I scrolled through the slot games, I spotted my game. I’ve seen Cryptologic’s Golden Jaguar slot game many times but never payed it. Now was as good a time as any.

I find it funny how high the bet is automatically set high when the slot game first loads. If someone was’t paying attention and assumed that it was the minimum bet, they would be in for a big surprise. I lowered it down to 1.50.  The Golden Jaguar slot game has 50-lines  featuring stacked wilds and a free spins bonus game. I liked the feel of the slot game and the design. One spin resulted in a win of 5.10 followed by another with a win of 8.25.

Not long into my session I got three bonus symbols. The free spins feature has the little twist of a random multiplier. After each spin, a multiplier is randomly chosen. I won just over 9.00. The wins during regular spins were fair but I expected a lot more when I saw the stacked wilds. At 1.50 per spin, I hadn’t really hit anything interesting.

I know this was not the smartest idea but I raised my bet to 2.00. The bonuses on Cryptologic slot games don’t come easy in my opinion. I was spinning my heart out and finally I hit the bonus. Once again it was 7  free spins with a random multiplier. At 2.00 per spin I was not happy with a 15.00 win.

I was nearing the end of my bankroll so another bonus would come in handy right about now. I had a couple of nice spins including stacked wilds for 15.20 and 18.40. That helped. Not wanting to blow my entire bankroll, I left the Golden Jaguar.

What are your favorite Cryptologic slot games?

New from RTG: The Three Stooges II Slot Game

I’ve always loved the Three Stooges. Moe, Larry and Curly were hilarious and have become timeless icons when it comes to slapstick humor. I was thrilled to hear of a new Real Time Gaming (RTG) slot game called The Three Stooges II. It’s a three line version but with a fun twist. There are free spin bonuses and multiplier for each of the guys. Three symbols of any of them will launch their bonus. I had to check is out ASAP.

Now, all I had to do was decide the best online casino to play it. Jackpot Capital seemed like a good place to take a gamble on The Three Stooges II slot game. I was betting $0.75 per spin to start. Right away I hit three Larry symbols which launched the Larry’s Stash Feature. There are several options: 20 Free games at 7x, 15 at 6x, 12 at 5x, 10 at 4x, 8 at 3x and 7 at 2x. The die rolls eliminating them one by one until you are left with only one. I was awarded 7 free games with a 2x multiplier. Win-Win is a cool RTG feature and it appears in this slot game. If your bonus win is zero or less than 5x your bet, you will win 2-200 times your bet. I won less than 5x my bet so I was awarded with a 10x multiplier.

I was surprised at the features and graphics included. I typically steer clear of 3-line slot games but this one is really fun to play. There are even clips from the original shows.

I wasn’t having much luck so stupidly I raised my bet to $1.50. It turned out to be a smart move as I hit a wild with 2 old car symbols for $45. I was still down a few bucks and I had to try and recover it. My next spin resulted in a $30 win. Now it was time to try and make a profit. I hoped for a bonus and sure enough, Larry’s Stash Feature once again! This time it was 8 free games with a 3x multiplier. The win was minimal but immediately after I got the Curly’s Cashola Feature.  I took in another $20 and called it a day. I wasn’t about to be the fourth stooge.

It’s difficult to find anything to complain about when it comes to this slot game. If I had to find something it would be that you can’t bypass the graphics. As entertaining as the clips are, you see the same ones over and over and must watch them in their entirety each time.

Have you tried The Three Stooges II? Even if you’re not a fan of 3-line slot games, I recommend it.

Red Raiding Hood Slot Game Raids My Bankroll

The greatest casino trick that online casinos have over me is the release of new slot games. I can’t resist trying them as soon as I hear about them. The reels and graphics are bright, shiny and new and hopefully paying out. I heard that NuWorks software had a brand new release called Red Raiding Hood. I walked through the forest to grandma’s…er…um…Buzzluck Casino that is.

As you can imagine, Red Raiding Hood Slot Game is a bit of a dark twist on the classic fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. It features Major, Minor and Mini Jackpots. If that sounds familiar that would be because NuWorks and RTG are closely related.

Anyway, I couldn’t wait to get started. I had 100 bucks and I began with a wager of $1 per spin. The Red Raiding Hood symbol doubles the prize which comes as a nice surprise. Right away I noticed the bullet holes through most of the symbols. I had to take a moment to admire the adorable graphics. I hit 5 “A” symbols for $8. The bonus consists of 8 free spins which are triggered when 3 or more bonus symbols hit the reels. You’re in for a real treat because the animated symbol is hilarious. There’s a woman being taken away in a runaway horse drawn cart. It’s seriously funny. I hit the free spins bonus and won $13 or so.

One spin included Red Raiding Hood symbols and several winning combos for $26.52. When she appears on an active pay line, Red Raiding Hood twirls shot guns on her fingers and winks. I was loving the fun theme and the nice win. It was better than my win from the free spins.

To make a long story short, I got a little excited and raised my bet. I should have waited until I built up my bankroll a bit more because Red Raiding Hood raided every penny of my balance. That little brat.

Which are the best online casino sites for you to play the newest slot games first?

Diggin’ for Black Gold

I think Mr. Green Casino has cast some sort of spell over me. I can’t stay away and there’s always something new to play. I frequently get offers for free spins by email anytime there is a new game. Free spin offers a clever online casino trick to draw us in. I heard that Black Gold had hit the market. It’s the latest from BetSoft and it’s hilarious.

First off, the music is really funny and adds so much to the experience of playing Black Gold. The graphics are great and the creators clearly have an amazing sense of humor. A cowboy sits atop his horse as you spin away. When you have a mighty fine spin he’ll tell you so. I just love the concept and design.

Now, the problem is that it doesn’t pay very well. I’ve read quite a bit on the casino forums about this site and we’ve debated. I’ll share some of the comments with you.

“Sadly pays are quite average, and what I don’t like as much is that as full of features as slot is, every feature requires you to have 3 of appropriate symbols. They pay nothing but raise the variance from medium to very high, thus greatly lowering your hit chance. I can definitely sense the lack of wild.”

“Well it seems you can’t have it all. If it is full of features, than you have ton of symbols thus exponentially higher variance, or you have medium variance but a dull slot. It seems that NetEnt is closer to ideal than anyone else lately.”

“Pays are small, but it wouldn’t be such a big deal if there was a wild (than hit chance would be much higher). I’m sure that 100% of gamblers will always put their money on something that pays good, rather than something graphically teasing but low on pays. I hope people at Betsoft will realize that in the end.”

“So, to sum it up, this slot is mostly like a cost-effective sort of entertainment? I mean, it’s fun, and it won’t cost you much, but don’t expect to win big?”

That last comment certainly sums it up for me. Black Gold is fun to play and you’re bankroll is steady for the most part but I can’t see any big wins in our future. Check out Black Gold and let me know what you think. Would you agree that the payout is fairly low on many of the BetSoft slot games?

Slot Games Cure All

I think I may have discovered a cure for the common cold. Actually it’s more of a casino trick. I was feeling a little under the weather so I thought it best to stay home from work for the day. Staying home was such a difficult decision to make (smirking). I downed some cold and flu meds and after a couple hours of daytime TV I needed something else to take my mind off of the horrible way I felt. What’s a person to do? Online Casinos are my cure all. I logged into GoWild Casino and in no time I was feeling just fine.

One of the slots that I love best is Throne of Egypt. It was launched not too long ago and it’s been on my list of favorites ever since. The bonus can be pretty generous but it’s the free spins that I crave. Straight away I got the free spins. I was so disappointed. I won no more than £1.50. I wasn’t surprised because I’ve seen this happen before more times than I’d like to admit. I was so done with Throne of Egypt. Off to find something else.

I spotted Immortal Romance but this game has to be one of the worst. I have played it to death and can’t think of a time where I had especially good luck. I can’t say that I’ve seen many other players that rave about this nightmare of a Microgaming creation. As you can see, there are no romantic feelings coming from my end. Okay, enough about that. So what did I decide to play?

I went for Eagle’s Wings. I have a lot of love for those stacked wilds. This was my last chance to hit it big and build up a decent balance. I needed a shot at the free spins bonus loaded with stacked wilds but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I was left penniless and in need of another dose of cold meds.

Back to Buzzluck

It had been a while since I played at Buzzluck casino. I haven’t had much luck there in the past so I’m not sure why I went back. I haven’t heard of too many players depositing at Buzzluck. In all my time spent reading posts on online casino forums, the hype of Buzzluck has certainly seems to have died down. When they first launched, the US players were excited to see another casino accepting them and the new software was a plus too. Again I ask myself, why did I go back?

I hadn’t played Judo Ferret before and I’m thinking that it’s a new slot game. Right away I triggered the free spins. I was presented with three options and I chose 6 free spins with a 5x multiplier. I haven’t developed a casino trick at this point to make the right selection. Shortly after I got the bonus again and chose 10 free spins with a 3x multiplier. This proved to be a much better option and I completed the free spins with a win of $40.88.

Right above the spin button on their slot games there is a speed gage. You can control how fast the reels spin without hitting the spin button over and over to make them stop. I never noticed that before. Anyway, I was only going to play $20 at Buzzluck and after the $40 win I was up to $60. Now, the plan was to cash out no more than $50. All I needed was another bonus round to hopefully push me over $100.

I am very happy to report that I did get another bonus and I chose the same amount of free spins as last time, 15 multiplied by 3x. I was a good decision worth $86. When it was all said and done I ended up with a good amount of $130 to withdraw. I will keep Judo Ferret on my list of hot games. Have you tried it?
